East Hill Farm has been in the Bliss family

since the late 1950s, when Ann and

Richard Bliss moved to Vermont with

the goal of starting a farm school.

With two sons in tow, they successfully ran

an accredited alternative school for over two

decades, teaching young people the

tenets of sustainable human to land relations

through agricultural based learning.

Today, East Hill Farm still carries on the

legacy of agriculture and land stewardship

with the Bliss family at the helm.

East Hill Produce

is run by mother and daughter duo Laura and

Emma Bliss, and uses no till techniques to grow

nutrient dense produce that is affordable

and accessible to all. Our aim is to

feed our local community, and enhance local

food security through a diversified

farm operation that is resilient to climate

change and shifting global food

chains.
